The management team at EGO Control Systems includes a group of dedicated people with many years of experience from all facets of the lighting control industry, both on the vendor and user side.
Yngve Sandboe - has been involved in software development for professional lighting, sound, and audio-visual control for more than 20 years. He also has extensive background from lighting in professional, large scale environments, including many years at the National Theatre in Oslo, Norway. Some of his most notable feats include the development of the AVAB VLC/Safari system, SandMan architectural control, SandNet network operating system, and the SandBox interfaces. Bernardo Benito Rico - has extensive background from the technical side of the entertainment lighting control industry, most recently as the founder of Ben-Ri and developer of a wide range of lighting controllers. Lennart Knauf - started his professional life in the theatre and has held many positions in lighting departments at major theatres, as well as at a leading opera house in Sweden. He later "crossed the line" to the manufacturer side and worked for AVAB/Transtechnik/ETC as Product Manager for AVAB's VLC/Safari, supporting this product at installations in theatres and opera houses across the world. Hans Lau - has been in the lighting industry for almost 30 years, starting as the founder of AVAB in Norway in the late 70s, combined with extensive involvement with the AVAB group in Sweden, Germany, and the US during the 80s and 90s. He is the CEO of AVAB America, Inc. and co-founder of SAND Network Systems. He has extensive experience with sales and customer support in the entertainment industry and with development and manufacturing of lighting control equipment and systems.
